Sundance Film Festival 2012

Sundance Film Festival 2012 starts today and goes through the 29th Yipidee!!! It is my absolute favorite thing to do here in Utah, it is a real treat! Last year was super slow for the fest and they're saying 2012 should be the best in years, lots of hotels and such booked up. The Outdoor Retailer Show one of the biggest outdoor shows in the world (that I also work at for prAna) is running at the same time this year which should help the fest out a ton too. Sundance Summer Theatre

We had a blast last night at the final showing of The Sound of Music at Sundance resort. No wonder all 14 shows sold out, it was incredible! Little Gretl stole the show she was so adorable.

If you have never been to Sundance's Summer Theatre I highly suggest it. The scenery is enchanting, the stage is surrounded in nature with breathtaking views and tranquil starry nights. We always bring blankets and lay on the hillside even though there are seats if you get there early. It is a must in Utah. I love seeing Sundance's Summer Theatre, it's gorgeous seeing the ski lifts without snow being it's always snowing during Sundance Film festival in the winter here. Love it!

The Patriotic Celebration they do with Utah's Symphony in July it is also fabulous a must see. Ahh Sundance you never let me down :)
